1. Heard learned counsel for the parties.

2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of anticipatory bail apprehending his arrest in connection with Khagaria Complaint Case no. 963C of 2019 registered under sections 498A and 323 of the Indian Penal Code and sections 3 & 4 of the D.P. Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, the complainant states that she was married to the petitioner on 16.4.2017. At the time of marriage various articles including ornaments, cash and a bullet motorcycle etc., were given. She further states that she was tortured by the accused persons for demand of dowry. The accused made a further demand of Rs. 6 lakhs in cash and a

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case only for the reason that he happens to be husband of the complainant. The allegations are false and concocted. The petitioner has always been ready to amicably settle the matter between the parties. Referring to the order of the learned trial Court it is submitted that though the matter was sent to Mediation Centre, however it could not be settled. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is ready to cooperate in the case.

5. Heard learned A.P.P. for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the nature of allegation against the petitioner in the complaint, the submissions made together with the petitioner not having any criminal antecedent, it is directed that the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks, be released on anticipatory bail in connection with Khagaria Complaint Case no. 963C of 2019 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties
