Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 307, 380, 448, 147, 148, 149 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act. According to FIR, for land dispute, the petitioner fired causing injury at the leg of the wife of the informant. Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that there is case and counter case and false accusation is there due to land dispute.

Learned counsel for the informant opposed the prayer for bail on the ground of seriousness of allegation against the petitioner and the fact that counter case has not been found true by the police during investigation.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.25088 of 2017 (3) dt.29-06-2017 2/2 Considering the nature of allegation, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail, on completion of four months of custody, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Rohtas at Sasaram/successor Court in connection with Sasaram (M) Police Station Case No. 1325 of 2015, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
