The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304(B), 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
The accusation is of killing the grand-daughter of the informant for non-fulfillment of dowry demand. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that petitioner No. 1 is brother-in-law of the deceased and petitioner No. 2 is the mediator in the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.65731 of 2021(3) dt.23-08-2022 2/2 marriage. There is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioners. The petitioners live separately from the husband of the deceased and they had no concern with the day-to-day affairs of the deceased and her husband.
In the facts and circumstance of the case, let the petitioners, above named, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the Court below within a period of four weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/-(Ten Thousands) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 11th Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Motihari, East Champaran in connection with Pahadpur P.S. Case No. 482 of 2020, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
