Learned counsel for the petitioner filed a supplementary affidavit in the court today.

The petitioner is apprehending her arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code pending in the learned court below.

Allegation against the petitioner is that she has got job as 'Panchayat Teacher' on the basis of the forged documents. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.59162 of 2022(6) dt.20-02-2023 2/2 case. He submits that petitioner was appointed in the year 2008 after due verification and the application form contained in the signature of the petitioner and the form was duly attested by the Appointment Unit. He submits in the supplementary affidavit that the petitioner has resigned from the said post on 17.02.2023. He further submits that petitioner have got no criminal antecedent as stated in para-3 of the bail application. Learned APP for the State opposes for prayer for bail.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances and the fact that the petitioner has resigned from the service, let the petitioner, named above, in the event of her arrest/surrender before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Court below, where the case is pending/Successor court, in connection with Cheriya Bariyarpur P.S. Case No.112/2022, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C.
