JUSTICE VIKASH JAIN ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 08-08-2017 The present writ petition has been filed for quashing the selection of one Veena Kumari (respondent no. 9) on the post of Anganbari Sevika in Belhadi Panchayat, Belaganj, Gaya; and for connected reliefs.

2. None appears on behalf of the petitioner despite repeated calls. The writ petition was dismissed for non-prosecution by order dated 06.12.2010. That was subsequently restored by order dated 23.10.2013 passed in MJC No. 5187 of 2010.

3. Learned counsel for the State as well as learned counsel for respondent no. 9 appearing suo motu submit that the

Patna High Court CWJC No.19684 of 2010 dt.08-08-2017 2/2 present writ petition is not fit to be entertained as it has been filed in the year 2010 whereas selection of the respondent no. 9 had been made in the Aam Sabha meeting held on 16.05.2007.

4. Having regard to the delay and laches on the part of the petitioner in approaching this Court after delay of more than three and half years, this Court is not inclined to interfere in the matter. The writ petition stands dismissed.
