JUSTICE SAMARENDRA PRATAP SINGH ORAL ORDER 08-12-2015 The petitioners seek quashing of letter dated 9.4.2015 by which they have been restrained from teaching work as they failed twice in merit valuation examination which was compulsory in view of government policy. Learned State counsel submits that this writ application has become infructuous as the necessary amendment under Rules has been made and one more opportunity has been provided to clear the examination. Besides this, the petitioners in support of their stand have also relied upon a decision of this Court dated 17.7.2015 passed in L.P.A. No.769 of 2015 and other analogous cases wherein the State also took the stand that government had decided to give one more opportunity to such of the teachers who did not clear the Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) in two attempts. In view of the amendment under the Rules, this writ application stands disposed of.
