JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 29-03-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- " (i) For directing the concerned respondent authorities to register the arms license no. HMB/AP/311/Arms of the petitioner in the O.D. register of the district of Muzaffarpur at the earliest for the purpose of renewal verification inspection since inspite of all efforts, the same is pending for no fault of the petitioner causing inconvenience and great difficulties to the petitioner."

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that though the application for registration of arms licence was filed on 24.03.2021 and no objection certificate has been issued

Patna High Court CWJC No.14450 of 2022(2) dt.29-03-2023 2/2 by the Home Department, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, Itanagar on 24.03.2022, however, the aforesaid grievance of the petitioner has not stood redressed by the District Arms Magistrate, Muzaffarpur till date.

In view of the aforesaid, I deem it fit and proper to dispose off the present writ petition with a direction to the District Arms Magistrate, Muzaffarpur to dispose off the aforesaid pending application of the petitioner by passing necessary orders, in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks of receipt/ production of a copy of this order.
