JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 06-02-2020 Petitioner seeks bail in connection with Gaighat P.S. Case No. 376 of 2018, corresponding to Sessions Trial No. 277 of 2019, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304B, 120B and 210 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against the petitioner, who happens to be husband of the deceased, is that he set the deceased on fire by sprinkling kerosene oil.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that allegation is general in nature and he is in custody since 16.11.2018.

Heard learned APP, who has opposed the prayer for bail in view of allegation against the petitioner. In view of allegation, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
