Patna High Court CWJC No.14280 of 2022(2) dt.13-02-2024 2/3 ORAL ORDER 13-02-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "That present writ petition is being filed for issuance of appropriate writ/writs, order/orders, direction/directions to the respondents to make rearrangement for physical test of the petitioners which was held on 06-06-2022 for appointment on the post of Home Guards in the District of Kishanganj in response to advertisement no.
02/2011 in the light of letter dated 20-052022 issued by the District Magistrate, Kishanganj because petitioners were compelled to run on wet land track filled with sand whereas on 03-06-2022 other candidates ran on soil track hence discrimination has been made by the respondents in taking the running test and for any other relief / reliefs for which the petitioners are found to be entitled in the facts and circumstances of the case."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks not to press the writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioners to approach the respondent-authorities for
Patna High Court CWJC No.14280 of 2022(2) dt.13-02-2024 3/3 redressal of their aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.
