Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The writ petition has been filed being aggrieved by an order of suspension dated 26-09-2017 (Annexure- A series). The charge memo was issued on 21-08-2017 (Annexure- 2). It is the petitioner's grievance that the proceedings have protracted for such a long time to the prejudice of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the State, on the other hand, submits that the proceedings are being prolonged because the petitioner is not cooperating in the proceedings. 4.

The parties however are in agreement that the issue pending in the proceedings, arising out of the charge memo dated 21-08-2017, is required to be taken to its logical conclusion expeditiously. The same can be done only subject to the petitioner's cooperation.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he shall be extending full cooperation for ensuring conclusion of the proceedings.

The Inspector General of Registration, Department of Prohibition, Excise and Registration, Government of Bihar, Patna (respondent No. 3) should take all necessary steps for ensuring conclusion of the proceedings within three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, subject to cooperation of the petitioner.

With the aforesaid observation/s, writ petition is disposed of.
