That this is an application for issuance of an appropriate writ order or direction to appoint the petitioner on any class-III or Class-IV post in CISF on compassionate ground as late husband of the petitioner Pawan Kumar Singh constable in CISF lastly posted in Durgapur died during service on 19-01- 2018 and not to restrict the chances of the petitioner for selection beyond 3 attempt as doing so is highly illegal arbitrary discriminatory and against the purpose of compassionate appointment ."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the respondent submits that the petitioner can file appropriate

Patna High Court CWJC No.14136 of 2023(2) dt.01-04-2024 2/2 application for grant of appointment on compassionate ground before the Director General, CISF, which shall definitely be considered, within a time bound period and appropriate orders shall be passed thereon, in accordance with law. 3.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to grant liberty to the petitioner to approach the Director General, CISF, by filing appropriate representation, within a period of two weeks from today, which shall be considered by the Director General, CISF, in accordance with law and a reasoned and a speaking order shall be passed thereon, within a period of six weeks, thereafter. 4.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
