02.09.2020 Heard Mr. Shailendra Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Surya Narayan Yadav, learned counsel for the Opposite Party No. 2 and learned APP for the State.

The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 84 of

2019, instituted for the offences under Sections 498(A) and 312 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.

The petitioner is the husband of Opposite Party No. 2.

On an earlier occasion, this matter was sent before the Mediation Center of Patna High Court for an amicable settlement.

The parties have informed this Court today that pursuant to a settlement having been arrived at, the entire money which was agreed upon between the parties to be paid to the wife has already been paid. Considering the afore-mentioned aspect of the matter, the petitioner, above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of eight weeks, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M.,

Madhepura in connection with Complaint Case No. 84 of 2019, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.

This petition stands allowed.
