1. Heard Mr. Arvind Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Suresh Prasad Singh, learned APP for the State.
2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Sherghati (Dobhi) P. S. Case No. 129 of 2023, dated 31.01.2023, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 414, 467, 468 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. The main submissions advanced by the petitioner's counsel are that the FIR has been registered under Sections 414, 467, 468 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code, the FIR itself shows that the alleged stolen motorcycle was recovered from the possession of co-accused Shatrudhan Manjhi, who claimed that he had purchased the said motorcycle from the petitioner,

No.55217 of 2025(2) dt.18-08-2025 2/2 however, he could not produce any relevant document to substantiate such purchase and as regards the other offences of forgery relating to the registration number found on the seized motorcycle at the time of recovery, the petitioner has no concern. It is lastly submitted that the petitioner has been languishing in jail since 23.12.2024 and the investigation against him has been completed.
4. Learned APP appearing for the State has opposed the bail prayer of the petitioner.

Considering the aforesaid submissions advanced by the petitioner's counsel and mainly the petitioner's custody period and completion of investigation against him, this court is inclined to grant him the relief of bail. Accordingly, let the petitioner named-above be enlarged on bail in connection with Sherghati (Dobhi) P. S. Case No. 129 of 2023 on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court concerned.
