2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Dumra P.S. Case No. 517 of 2024 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 103(1), 238 of the B.N.S.

3. As per prosecution story, informant alleged that on 15.11.2024, he got an information that his son has been killed by accused persons including this petitioner and thrown near Barharwa bridge.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is not named in the FIR. During course of investigation, only on the confessional statement of co-accused Birendra Rai, the name of the petitioner transpired in this case. Save and except, confessional statement, there is nothing on record to connect this petitioner with alleged crime.

5. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering period of custody of the petitioner, his prayer for regular bail is allowed. Let the petitioner, mentioned above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sitamarhi/competent jurisdiction in Dumra P.S. Case No. 517 of 2024.
