In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Khagaria (Muffasil) P.S. Case No.682 of 2016, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 342, 307 and 324/34 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 27 of the Arms Act.

As per the F.I.R, while the informant was returning on his motorcycle, the accused persons including the petitioner intercepted him. When he tried to flee away, the petitioner opened fire upon the informant, which hit the right thigh of the informant.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that both the parties have entered into the compromise. However, the case

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.37080 of 2018(2) dt.03-07-2018 2/2 is not compoundable, so the compromise has no value in the eye of law.

Looking to the nature of allegation, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected.
