Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 20(B)(II)(C)/22(C) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. From the dickey of the referred XUV, 24 Kg. of Ganja was recovered. The petitioner and others were traveling on the vehicle and they are accused in this case. Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 03.08.2016. Neither the said vehicle nor the Ganja was of the petitioner and only on suspicion, the petitioner has been made an accused.

Considering the substance in the aforesaid

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.20551 of 2017 (3) dt.30-06-2017 2/2 submission, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge, Bhojpur at Ara/successor Court in connection with N.D.P.S. Case No. 16 of 2016 arising out of Udwant Nagar Police Station Case No. 295 of 2016, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
