Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The writ petition has been filed seeking a direction upon the respondent-Commission, to accept the application of the petitioner in the process of appointment

Patna High Court CWJC No.12269 of 2023 dt.14-09-2023 2/3 arising out of Advertisement No. 04/2020 - 09/2020 for appointment of 'Ayush Medical Officer'.

The petitioner was overage in terms of original advertisement. By virtue of relaxation in the maximum age criteria under orders of the High Court, the petitioner become eligible, but could not apply within the period, during which the portal had been opened for receiving application from others, including the petitioner, initially overage in terms of advertisement, but were eligible after grant of relaxation. Admittedly, the petitioner could not apply within the said period, which has lapsed on 01-07-2023. The writ application has been filed much thereafter i.e., in the first week of August, 2023, complaining that she could not upload her application due to some technical glitch.

This Court, in the above circumstances, would find that since the petitioner has not applied within the time specified, she cannot claim any extra time for applying, when all other desirous applicants have submitted their applications, within the time specified.

Petitioner has no right to claim any such exception, much less by issuance of any direction in her favour. It is worth recording that the petitioner has approached to this Court more than

The writ petition is devoid of merit and the same is dismissed.
