JUSTICE VIKASH JAIN ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 16-08-2018 The present writ petition has been filed for a direction to the authorities to issue P.D.S. licence on compassionate basis.

2. None appears on behalf of the petitioner despite repeated calls.

3. A perusal of the averment in the writ petition discloses that the petitioner has applied for a PDS license on compassionate basis, consequent upon death of his father late Suryadeo Choudhary on 6.09.2014 who was a retailer of PDS. It has been stated that the Block Supply Officer, Phulwaria recommended for grant/transfer of PDS license in favour of the petitioner but the application of the petitioner remains pending.

4. Having regard to the nature of grievance of the petitioner, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the concerned authority to consider and dispose of the petitioner's application for grant of PDS license, if not already disposed of, in accordance with law.
