In course of investigation, it came to light that the SIM card through which extortion money was demanded stood in the name of petitioner but submission on behalf of the petitioner is that, in course of investigation, it came to light that the aforesaid SIM was being used by one Happy Singh and Happy Singh has already been granted privilege of bail. Moreover, the petitioner is languishing in jail custody since 21.03.2016 and except the present case as well as one other case, there is no other criminal antecedent of the petitioner.

Considering the facts aforesaid and submission of the parties, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.18536 of 2016 (2) dt.02-05-2016 2/2 furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/ - (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sheohar in connection with Sheohar P.S. case No.152 of 2014.
