2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sheohar P.S. Case No. 166 of 2024 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 376 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4,6 of the POCSO Act.

3. From the F.I.R., it appears to be a case of consensual sex. The victim has been found to be aged about 18 years.

4. The petitioner is in jail since 21.06.2024 and he claims to have clean antecedent.

5. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the informant has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.
