2. The case of the petitioner is that he is a businessman of repute having petrol pump and gas agency. Keeping in view, the threat against him he was earlier given personal security on subject to payment for six months. Thereafter, the security officer has been withdrawn due to the pendency of assessment of the threat perception against the petitioner. Now the Superintendent of Police has recommended the case of the petitioner before the Special Security Committee for consideration of his case as per the report of the

Patna High Court CWJC No.14239 of 2022(3) dt.07-12-2023 2/2 Superintendent of Police. The Special Security Committee will take a decision on the recommendation sent by the Superintendent of Police in favor of the petitioner within 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. Till the decision is taken by the committee the SSP, Patna will provide the petitioner a personal security officer on payment basis. It is also observed that if the petitioner is found entitled for providing personal security officer on payment by these committee then the same cannot be withdrawn after lapse of six months unless there is an assessment that there is no threat to the petitioner.
