The petitioner seeks bail in Motihari Town P.S. Case No. 253 of 2017 registered under Sections 419, 420 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner along with other accused persons are said to have demanded Rs. 10,000/- from the informant masquerading as the officer and staff of Labour Department. The petitioner was apprehended by the police on getting information by the informant on the spot.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is quite innocent and he has committed no offence. No such offence as alleged has taken place. As a matter of

No.29500 of 2017 (2) dt.01-07-2017 2/2 fact, the petitioner had gone to purchase some sweet from the shop of the informant and over the row of measurement and price of sweet, some altercation took place between them, due to which the informant has falsely implicated the petitioner in the case. The petitioner has been languishing in custody since 15.04.2017. Considering the facts aforesaid, the above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Motihari in connection with Motihari Town P.S. Case No. 253 of 2017.
