The petitioner is in custody since 15.06.2019 in connection with Chakia P.S. Case No.188 of 2019 registered for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Excise Amendment Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the alleged recoveries of 83.616 litres of liquor were not from the conscious possession of the petitioner but from the hut.
