JUSTICE PURNENDU SINGH ORAL ORDER 27-08-2025 Heard Mr. Shahrukh Shiddiqui, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners and Mr. Abhay Kumar learned APP for the State and Mr. Rabidra Kumar Priyadarshi, learned counsel for the complainant.
2. The petitioners seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Complaint Case No.1032/23 registered for the offence(s) punishable under Sections 406 and 417 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.55262 of 2025(2) dt.27-08-2025 2/3 petitioners and the complainant jointly agrees that the mater can be settled by way of mediation and in that regard, they have shown their agreement to refer the matter before the learned Mediator.
4. Considering the aforesaid submissions made on behalf of the parties, I find that the matter can be resolved outside the Court by way of mediation.
5. The petitioners are directed to appear before the learned District Court on 09.09.2025 sharp at 10:30 a.m.
6. Learned District Court is directed to take necessary action to refer the matter before the learned mediator of the District Mediation Center.
7. Learned Mediator of the District Mediation Center concerned shall make his/her best efforts to settle the dispute amicably and thereafter submit his/her report before the concerned learned District Court, well within a period of four months, till then, no coercive action shall be taken against the petitioner in connection with the aforesaid case.
8. In case of failure on the part of the petitioners to appear on 09.09.2025 before the learned District Court or any date fixed by the learned Mediator, the interim protection granted to the petitioners shall automatically lose its force.

9. Accordingly, the present bail application stands disposed of.
