This application is for grant of regular bail in connection with Sirdala (Meskaur) P.S.Case No.85 of 1999 and now corresponding in Sessions Trial No.414 of 2017/61 of 2017, registered for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 149, 448, 341, 324, 307 and 302 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. The case is under Section 302 and other Section of the Indian Penal Code and from the impugned order, it appears that the petitioner has been declared absconder and thereafter he has surrendered and he is in custody for about six months.

Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that all the other accused persons have been granted bail.

Having heard both sides and considering the conduct of the petitioner, the learned Additional Sessions Judge has also made comment that due to his conduct, the trial has been delayed, as such, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, however, the learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial and try to conclude it within a period of seven months, if possible. With the aforesaid observation, this application is dismissed.
