JUSTICE AHSANUDDIN AMANULLAH ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 08-05-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner; State and Bihar State Food and Civil Supplies Corporation Limited (hereinafter referred to as the 'Corporation').

2. The petitioner has moved the Court for the following reliefs:

" That this is an application for issuing an appropriate writ, order or direction to the respondents to make payment of arrears of Salary as well as entire retiral benefits of the petitioner which remained due since October, 1983 to January, 2014 to the petitioner with interest."

3. From the pleadings, it appears that whatever

Patna High Court CWJC No.3013 of 2015 dt.08-05-2018 2/2 admissible amount of Gratuity, as of now, was required to be paid, the same has been paid, moreso, in terms of the interim order of the Division Bench of this Court dated 31.08.2017 in L.P.A. No. 804 of 2016. With regard to leave encashment, the stand is that the same has been deposited in the account of the petitioner on 27.02.2017. With regard to arrears of salary, it has been stated that though payments have been made but still verification is going on from the concerned District Managers and the same shall be paid once the process is over.

4. Having regard to the aforesaid, the Court finds that the writ petition has served its purpose and accordingly, the same stands disposed off. However, in terms of the stand taken by the Corporation at paragraph no. 5 of the supplementary counter affidavit filed on its behalf, let the exercise undertaken by the Corporation be completed and whatever remains to be paid on account of arrears of salary be paid to him within two months from the date of production of a copy of this order before the respondent no. 2.
