2. The petitioner is in custody in connection with Mahila P.S. Case No. 24 of 2022 for the offence under Sections 376, 341, 323, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4, 6 of the POCSO Act.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 17.05.2023.

4. From reading of the F.I.R, it appears that petitioner and the alleged victim were having an affair and they were in regular touch through letters. As per F.I.R, victim is on the verge of majority.

5. Considering the aforesaid facts and period of custody, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail subject to the condition that he will cooperate in the trial
