JUSTICE VIKASH JAIN ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 19-11-2018 The present writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent nos. 2 to 7 and to restrain the respondent no. 8 not to collect any amount in the name of bus stand fee/tax/bill for Majhaura Chowk Bus Stand situated on Khata No. 144, 765, Khesra No. 3918, 3919, 7709 and 5354, an area of 5 Katha bounded by North-Road, South-Self lesser, East-Self lesser, West- Self lesser from the petitioner.
2. At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it will suffice if the petitioner's representation dated 05.01.2015 (Annexure-5) for redressal of his grievances filed before the Divisional Commissioner-cum-Chairman, Darbhanga Regional
Patna High Court CWJC No.5505 of 2015 dt.19-11-2018 Transport Authority, Darbhanga (Respondent No. 2) is directed to be disposed of, in which event, the present writ petition need not be pressed on merits.
3. Learned counsel for the respondents appears and has been heard.
4. Having regard to the nature of the grievances and the stand of the petitioner, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Divisional Commissioner-cum-Chairman, Darbhanga Regional Transport Authority, Darbhanga (Respondent No. 2) to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 05.01.2015 (Annexure-5), if the same is pending before him, after grant of opportunity of hearing to the petitioner in accordance with law expeditiously and preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this judgment.
