The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 447, 431, 323, 307, 302, 427, 504 of the Indian Penal Code.

Earlier prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected by this court vide Annexure-1 to this application taking into account that the fatal injury is said to be caused by the petitioner.

A report was called for regarding the stage of the case. From the report, it appears that the case is fixed for argument. The Trial court has reported that the trial is expected to be concluded within a period of four months.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, I am

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.55613 of 2019(3) dt.18-12-2019 2/2 not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, prayer for bail of the petitioner in connection with Sessions Trial No. 281 of 2016 arising out of Jamalpur P.S. Case No. 117 of 2015 is rejected.

The trial court is directed to take all possible steps to expedite the trial of the petitioner and conclude the same, preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt/production of copy of this order.
