The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Khushrupur P.S. Case No.76 of 2018 registered under Section 7 of the E.C. Act.

The Block Supply Officer in his written report alleged that 4.70 quintal of rice kept in 9 bags and also in one unstitched bag containing 20 Kgs. rice was seized from a tamtam. The people say that the rice belongs to Rameshwar Rabidas, the petitioner, a P.D.S. shop dealer.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the case does not belong to the petitioner. The godown of the petitioner was not verified. One Umesh Kumar filed petition

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.34227 of 2018 (2) dt.29-06-2018 before the S.D.O. to enquire and verify the matter. Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Patna City, Patna in connection with Khushrupur P.S. Case No.76 of 2018(G.R. No.1632 of 2018), subject to conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
