The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Harsidhi P.S. Case No.49 of 2014 registered under Sections 498(A), 406, 323 and 354 of the Indian Penal Code.
The accusation is of torturing the complainant/informant by her husband (petitioner) and other in-laws for non fulfillment of the dowry demand of remaining amount in cash to purchase the Scorpio vehicle and ousting the complainant/informant from the matrimonial house by snatching her all belongings. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the husband of the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.29640 of 2017 (2) dt.05-07-2017 2/2 complainant/informant and has falsely been implicated in this case. The petitioner is in custody since 02.05.2017. Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Motihari, East Champaran, in connection with Harsidhi P.S. Case No.49 of 2014.
