=========================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SHIVAJI PANDEY ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 18-10-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, State and the Central Selection Board of Constable.

Petitioner passed the written examination, she was put to physical examination and it was found that she is short in height by .4 cm.

As per the required height, every candidate must possess 155 cm. height whereas petitioner's height was found 154.6 cm. The petitioner was not satisfied, she was again put on physical verification, on appeal height of the petitioner was measured as

Again the petitioner was not satisfied, she approached this Court in the present proceeding and this Court, vide order dated 5th September 2016, directed for re-measurement of the height of petitioner in between the period from 8 AM to 11 AM. In pursuance thereof, the petitioner was again put to examination of her height and it was found, her height is 154.6 cm. Still the petitioner is not feeling satisfied, this Court cannot help her, as whatever the human error was possible that has been removed, as her height was measured thrice. If there is a deficit in the height, the candidate cannot be selected and this Court cannot give direction to grant any concession to a candidate who is below in the requisite height.
