The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in a case instituted for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 353, 337 of the Indian Penal Code.
It has been alleged in the First Information Report that police party had gone for raid in the house of Subham Kumar and from there a pistol has been recovered and also recovered a pistol and cartridges from the house of Ranjay Sharma. Rajnay Sharma was arrested but his son Subham Kumar has fled away. When the police party was returning 100 - 150 male and female obstructed the movement of the vehicle and did not allow to go ahead. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that no role has been attributed to the present petitioner merely he was a member of mob and save and except there is nothing on record. Looking to the facts and circumstances of the case, in the event of arrest or surrender within four weeks from today, let petitioner, namely, Ravi Ranjan Kumar, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-II, Danapur in connection with Nauabatpur P.S. Case No.248 of 2018, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
