2. The petitioner seeks bail, apprehending his arrest, in connection with Complaint Case No. 1600 of 2022, Trial No. 2152 of 2023 filed for the offences punishable under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

As per the complaint petition, the petitioner/husband has committed cruelty due to non-fulfillment of illegal demand of dowry.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.56392 of 2023(2) dt.30-08-2023 2/2 case. He further submits that the petitioner is still ready to keep the complainant with full dignity and honour.

Learned APP vehemently opposed the prayer for bail and submits that the complainant/wife has lodged this criminal case for illegal demand of dowry and torturing on account of non-fulfillment of the same. He further submits that there is a son born out of the wedlock and there is no reason to level false allegation against the accused persons including the petitioner.
6. In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances, this Court is not persuaded to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail.
7. The present anticipatory bail application is rejected, accordingly.
