1. Heard learned Counsel for the petitioners and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State.

2. This application, for grant of anticipatory bail, arises out of Kako Police Station Case No. 110 of 2024, dated 28.04.2024, disclosing offences punishable under Sections 302/201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The prosecution case, as per the First Information Report, is that the informant's daughter was married to coaccused Ashok Paswan about eight years ago and out of their wedlock, there are three children. It has been alleged that the petitioners along with co-accused Ashok Paswan used to assault the informant's daughter and they also

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.61755 of 2024(3) dt.20-09-2024 2/3 threatened to kill her. On 27.04.2024, in the morning, the informant got information that her daughter and granddaughter Sapana Kumari have been killed and their dead bodies have been cremated/concealed by the accused persons.

4. Learned Counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are father-in-law and mother-in-law of the deceased. He further submits that the marriage of the deceased was solemnized with the son of the petitioners eight years ago and the petitioners are innocent and have not committed any offence in the manner alleged and they have been implicated in this case merely on the ground that they are the father-in-law and mother-in-law of the deceased. He further submits that the petitioner are old aged persons, suffering from various ailments. He also submits that the husband of the deceased is in judicial custody.

5. Regards being had to the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties and taking into consideration the nature of allegation and severity of the punishment and the fact that there is specific allegation against the petitioners in the First Information Report, I am not inclined to grant the
