In this case, the petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Madhepur P.S. Case No. 43 of 2016 for offence under Sections 406, 409, 420, 467, 468 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.
The petitioner is an Assistant in the Block Development Officer and an allegation has been made against the petitioner of being involved in the financial irregularities. Earlier the petitioner has also faced with the same type of case in Madhepur P.S. Case No. 71 of 2015 for offence under Section 406, 409, 420, 467, 468, 201 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code. Looking to the entire facts and circumstances of the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.24090 of 2017 (3) dt.05-07-2017 case, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner, namely, Ajay Kumar Thakur is rejected. If the petitioner would surrender before the court below within a period of three weeks from today, the court below will pass orders without being prejudiced by this order.
