ii) Issuance of a writ in the nature of writ of Mandamus directing the respondent No. i.e. Commandant Home Guard Battalian, Patna and District Commandant, Bihar Home Guard, Battalian, Rohtas to appoint the successful candidates i.e. petitioners against the remaining 28 vacant post with respect to advertisement No.02/2011 of Bihar Home Guard Battalian.

iii) Issuance of a writ in the nature of writ of Mandamus directing the respondents authorities to consider the representations made by petitioners for their appointment on the post of Home Guard Batttalian Rohtas, in which 28 post are still vacant according to the information received through R.T.I. regarding vacancy in Advertisement No. 02/2011 from District Commandant, Bihar Home Guard Battalian, Rohtas."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioners to approach the respondent

Patna High Court CWJC No.12360 of 2023(2) dt.19-02-2024 3/3 authorities for redressal of their aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The present writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
