In the present writ application, the following relief has been sought for on behalf of the petitioner : (I) That this is an application for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing and commanding the respondent authorities to pay to the petitioner both arrears and current salary, by making him entitled to benefits of UGC 4th and 5th revised pay scale in terms of recommendation of the Pay revision committee and in terms of the resolution of the Government (Annexures-7 and 8) which recommends entitlement to petitioner of such scale i.e. Rs.2200-4000 from 01.01.1986 and Rs.800013,500/- from 01.01.1995 and further for issuance of direction to shift grant of scale of Rs.8000-275-
Patna High Court CWJC No.21432 of 2011(6) dt.03-11-2017 2/2 13,500/- to 01.01.1996 which has been wrongly granted to petitioner from 01.06.2005 and further for grant of other consequential benefits to the petitioner to which he may be entitled to and for issuance of any other appropriate writ or writs, order or direction for grant of any other benefits to which the petitioner may be found legally entitled to.
Considering the relief sought for in the present writ application, the petitioner is directed to file a representation before the Respondent No.3 i.e. Vice Chancellor, Patna University, Patna. The Respondent No.3 shall consider the representation of the petitioner and pass a reasoned order in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of filing of such representation by the petitioner. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the present writ application stands disposed of.
