Learned counsel for the petitioner is permitted to remove defect(s), as pointed out by the office, if any, within a period of four weeks from today.

This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Shri Krishnapuri P.S. Case No. 196 of 2022 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 457 and 380 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner has similar criminal antecedents. He has been named in the confessional statement of co-accused who had committed theft in six flats.

This Court does have sympathy with such type of criminals who are involved in dealing with stolen ornaments.

The District & Sessions Judge, Patna is directed to expedite the trial of all three cases pending against the petitioner and conclude the same within a period of one year from today by transferring the trial of all the three cases in a Court. The District & Sessions Judge, Patna, shall submit a report about the progress of the trials to this Court after six months.
