JUSTICE SAMARENDRA PRATAP SINGH ORAL ORDER 19-01-2016 Petitioner, who happens to be the father-in-law of the deceased, apprehends arrest in a case under sections 342, 323,307,302/34 of the Indian Penal Code on the allegation that at his order, his son assaulted his wife and set her on fire by sprinkling Kerosene oil, who died later on in course of treatment. The petitioner submits that the victim herself burnt her and implicated all the members of the family. Counsel for the State controverts the submission of the petitioner and states that the victim is herself the informant of the case.

Prayer for bail of the petitioner is refused with direction to surrender and seek regular bail which would be disposed of on its own merit without prejudice, preferably on the same day. Shashi./- (Samarendra Pratap Singh, J) U
