Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner applied for maternity leave from 18.08.2018 till 23.04.2019 and thereafter submitted joining on 24.4.2019 but unfortunately neither the respondents have taken decision on maternity leave nor the petitioner has been allowed to join the

Patna High Court CWJC No.16314 of 2019(2) dt.13-08-2019 2/2 school.

The writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the District Programme Officer, Establishment, Gaya to take appropriate decision with regard to the claim of the petitioner and direct the concerned Incharge Headmaster/ Head Mistress of the school in question in the matter of grant of maternity leave as well as on the issue of joining of the petitioner. Necessary decision in this regard must be taken by the respondents within a maximum period of 30 days from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order . With the aforesaid, the writ petition stands disposed of.
