The present petition has been filed for quashing of the First Information Report of Gardanibagh P.S. Case No. 98 of

2015, dated 30.03.2015, which has been registered for the offences under Sections 417, 420 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner is not in a position to categorically inform this Court whether the investigation is still pending.

It is an old case and the investigation ought to have been completed by now.

If at all the investigation is still pending, the Investigating Officer of this case shall conclude the same within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

The order would be implemented only if the investigation has remained pending till date. If the investigation has been concluded and a report has been submitted, it would be open for the petitioner to take recourse to his legal remedies.

With the aforesaid observation, the petition stands disposed off.
