The petitioners herein seek anticipatory bail in Katihar Rail P.S. Case No. 26 of 2015, registered under Sections 379/34 and 411 of the Indian Penal Code.

The names of the petitioners appeared in the confessional statement of Md. Ibrar and Md. Zahid. According to their statements, these two petitioners had escaped with the stolen brief case and other articles. The confessional statement of the two accused(s) assumes significance as stolen/looted articles were also recovered from their possession, as per the Seizure Memo enclosed with the First Information report. In such circumstances, I do not feel inclined to grant

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.12181 of 2016 (3) dt.25-05-2016 2/2 the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioners. The prayer is rejected.
