2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Dumraon P.S. Case No. 294 of 2023 lodged on 15.07.2023 under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 324, 307 & 302 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the bail application of the petitioner has earlier been rejected vide order dated 31.08.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 55030 of 2024 with a direction to the Trial Court to expedite the trial.
4. Counsel further submits that the criminal antecedent of the petitioner is clean and he has been in custody since 15.07.2023. Counsel also submits that on the previous occasion, a report regarding present stage of the trial was called for.

Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that a report regarding regarding present stage of the trial was called for and it transpires from the said report that there are in total six charge-sheeted witnesses, two of the witnesses have been examined and bailable warrant has been issued against the remaining unofficial prosecution witnesses.
6. In the present facts and circumstances of this case, and considering the submissions made above, particularly the report indicating that the trial is likely to be concluded within six months from the date of the report, the bail application of the petitioner is hereby rejected.
