11. As regards disappearance of the victim child, an F.I.R has been registered as Forbesganj (Simraha) P.S. Case No. 855 of 2022. Based on what has been asserted in the writ petition, a conclusion cannot be reached that the victim is in the custody of the private respondents.

Learned counsel for the petitioner agrees that though the investigation is going on, but effective steps have not been taken by the police to ensure recovery of the minor child. The nature of relief, which the petitioner is seeking, cannot be granted in the present writ proceeding. However, this writ petition is disposed of with an observation that it is expected from the police to ensure that the criminal case is brought to a logical conclusion as expeditiously as possible.
