The petitioner is languishing in custody since 24.12.2014 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 7/13(2) read with Section 13(i) (d) of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.
The petitioner being the Halka Karamchari was trapped while receiving illegal gratification of Rs.5,000/- for creating a Jamabandi in the name of the father of the complainant and other co-sharers with regard to land situated at Minapur Block in the district of Muzaffarpur.
It is submitted by learned senior counsel for the petitioner that the Jamabandi was created in favour of the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.5368 of 2015 (02) dt.12-03-2015 2/2 complainant and his family members vide order dated 08.02.2013, the same has been brought on record as Annexure-2, and subsequent thereto the rent was paid by the complainant and cosharers. The rent receipt has been brought on record as Annexure3. Considering the aforesaid facts, let the above named petitioner, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Vigilance I/C, Muzaffarpur in connection with Special Case No. 78 of 2014 arising out of Vigilance P.S.
