The petitioner, who is in custody, seeks bail in connection with Town P.S. Case No. 270 of 2017 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 399, 402, 414 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 25 (1-b), 26, 35 of the Arms Act. The allegation against the petitioner is that one loaded country made pistol and four cartridges were recovered from the possession of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. Petitioner has got clean antecedent and he is in custody since 28.05.2017. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the

Case No. 270 of 2017.
