The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Barsoi P.S. Case No. 137 of 2015, registered under Sections 406 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code. The accusation is that on receiving information to the effect that illegal Adhar Card is being prepared at the rate of Rs.50/- per Adhar Card, in village Baskota at the house of petitioner, the informant being Block Development Officer, Barsoi and police personnel reached there and saw that Niraj Kumar and Binay Kumar were present there. Thereafter, informant demanded licence with regard to preparation of Adhar Card but Niraj Kumar and Binay Kumar did not give any

Thereafter, informant seized HP laptop, cognent scanner, two piece web camera, two pieces fingerprint and other materials from the house of the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, in fact, petitioner gave on room on rent to Niraj Kumar and Binay Kumar and this petitioner has no knowledge about preparing the illegal Adhar Car by Niraj Kumar and Binay Kumar at his rented house and petitioner has no criminal antecedent. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioner be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.C.J.M.-VI, Katihar, in connection with Barsoi P.S. Case No. 137 of 2015, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
