The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Case No. 252 of 2017, arising out of Nalanda P.S. Case No. 07 of 2016 dated 17.01.2016 instituted for the offence under Sections 395, 412 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code.

A burglary had taken place in the house of the informant for which an F.I.R was registered for investigation against unknown. The name of the petitioner transpired in the statement of co-accused Meghan Paswan. Beyond this, it has been submitted that there is no other material to connect the petitioner with the crime. Neither the petitioner has been put on Test Identification Parade nor any stolen articles have been recovered from his possession. It has also been submitted on behalf of the

The petitioner is in custody since 29.06.2017. Regard being had to the aforesaid facts, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The petitioner, above named is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand) with sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned VII Additional District & Sessions Judge, Nalanda at Biharsharif in connection with Case No. 252 of 2017, arising out of Nalanda P.S. Case No. 7 of 2016.
