1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Special P.P. for the Vigilance.
2. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a person with clean antecedent and is in custody since 12.03.2024. It is further submitted that petitioner came to be implicated in the instant case with an allegation that he sought appointment as Teacher based on forged and fabricated certificate. It is next submitted that FIR came to be instituted based on an inquiry conducted behind the back of the petitioner. It is further submitted that had an opportunity been given to the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.60573 of 2024(2) dt.11-12-2024 2/2 petitioner to explain his side of the case, perhaps the FIR would not have been instituted.
4. Learned Special P.P. opposes the bail application.
5. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, the petitioner, above-named, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail-bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Nalanda in connection with Nalanda P. S. Case No.278 of 2023.
6. The application stands allowed.
